DOM TOREN - UTRECHT (NEDERLAND)
European bells sets are characterized by different ways of playing them. There are several variations from one country to another, but generally bells oscillate.
The bells are played from a distance, from a lower room, using more or less bells according to circumstances, and with little variation, marked by self-paced pendulum of each.
Bells of the Dom Toren Utrecht were never machined. The Utrechtse KLOKKENLUIDERS GILDE, an examplar voluntary association, is responsible for ringing through an annual calendar, including Sundays and holidays.
