Remarks Sonoma Coast, California. For information on the founding of Russian bells see Blagovast Bells: How Bells are Made. The bell belonged to a Russian Orthodox chapel built in 1824. The otter post was abandoned in the mid 1800's. This bell was recast after a 1970 fire.
